Maple trees are Woodcutting resource nodes and a type of tree found in Dowdun Reach, which require a mithril logging axe (or better) to cut.

Fully chopping a maple tree gives about 196 experience, excluding the stump. The tool used to cut the tree can slightly affect the XP given.

Maple trees will regrow from stumps (or seeds through the Farming skill) after 3 in-game days (72 hours) after the tree has been felled. Cutting the stump will prevent the tree from growing again.
