Raw giant krill is a Power Level 4 raw ingredient, which means it can be cooked at a campfire or grill into dried giant krill starting at Cooking level 41, and not burnt into burnt giant krill at level 50. It can also be used to make giant krill bait. It can be gathered from net fishing spots with at least a mystic net in Dowdun Reach.

Krill are tiny, harmless, little crustaceans, whose lives amount to little more than mass consumption by larger beasts. Yet, here on Ashenfall, the krill refuse to be the victim. Consuming anima they grow to unreasonable size, hoping to fight off any wood-be predators. They are rarely successful.

To its krill kin, this creature is a beast of epic proportions. The sort of monster of legend that would tower over mountains and shatter towers with a single swipe of its enormous claws. Here, though, it’s a bit like a big shrimp. Much less intimidating.
