Mining is one of the skills in RuneScape: Dragonwilds and allows players to use pickaxes to extract ores, minerals, and gems from various sources. Players can then use these resources in conjunction create armour and weapons, Building, and Runecrafting. Reaching 99 skill level in Mining will allow the player to craft the Mining cape.

- Rocksplosion: Instantly harvests all nodes and mineable deposits within a 5-metre radius This area of effect is increased once Ultimate Burst is unlocked.
- Summon Stone Spirits: Spawn a small spirit that will go directly to the nearest clay or ore node up to 200m.
- Divine Rock: Allows the player to create a small floating ore node where they dropped five ore of any kind Once Accelerated Veins is unlocked, the divine rock can also drop gems.
Pickaxes
Pickaxes are required to mine various ores and minerals around Ashenfall. Using higher-level pickaxes will allow players to mine more quickly and obtain tougher resources.

Boosts
Players can gain boosts by wearing certain items, or using consumables such as Food and Potions.

Players can temporarily gain perks which affect Mining.

Mineable resources
Players can use their pickaxe to mine for resources, including various ores, minerals, and gems. Once a source is partially or fully depleted, a respawn timer begins, which can take three or four in-game days to replenish and be mined again.

Levelling up Mining grants access to both passive benefits as well as unlocking spells which both help while mining.

- Mining nodes no longer use bloody hitsplats.
- Improved desync issues for clients when performing combat or gathering actions.
- Fixed an issue where gem drop frequency was hampered by players actually being too good at mining when reloading into a world.
