Sauteed Sardines
itemSauteed Sardines
Sauteed sardines are a consumable food item that provides 70 health and 25 sustenance, as well as granting the perk Sea Life, which restores 3 health every second for 600 seconds. They are made with fried sardine and dried redberries in a stone range or a cooking range; however, a player must interact with a stone range first to learn the recipe.

Journal
The following text is transcribed from the Journal.
A fried sardine, also known as a charred pilchard or 'pilcharred', is the go-to snack for a fisherman's pocket. If you see a stoic fisherman who talks very little, it's likely because they've got a mouthful of fried sardine and don't want to reveal the bones between their teeth. Fried sardines were also the subject of a failed business venture by a dwarf called Drorkar. He tried to manufacture 'tins' that would contain these sardines, with smithed 'rings' to open their tiny metal coffins. It was roundly rejected and cost the dwarf a great deal.

update
- The health was increased from 15 to 70, but the stack limit is still 50, and the Perk Warding Fish was replaced by the Perk Sea Life.
