What Are Daevanion Boards in AION 2?

Daevanion Boards are a permanent character progression system built around interconnected nodes. They can grant offensive and defensive stats, critical bonuses, Combat Speed, cooldown reduction, PvE or PvP effects, and upgrades to active and passive skills.

You cannot usually jump directly to an isolated powerful node. The useful route is the full route from the starting area to the target, so plan the total cost before spending Daevanion Points.

What Each Daevanion Board Does

• Nezekan: learn the system and prioritize useful class skills, Attack, HP, Defense, Critical Hit and Combat Speed.
• Zikel: combine damage, damage tolerance, Accuracy and survivability instead of chasing damage alone.
• Vaizel: evaluate Critical Damage Boost and Critical Damage Tolerance against your class rotation.
• Triniel: focus on Multi-Hit Chance and Multi-Hit Resistance as you approach endgame planning.
• Ariel: the specialized PvE board for dungeons, bosses, expeditions and open-world monsters.
• Azphel: the specialized PvP board for faction warfare, Abyss combat and other player-versus-player content.
• Marchutan and Yustiel: later progression boards for Weapon Damage or Attack and Defense; check their seasonal requirements before planning around them.

Daevanion Points vs Daevanion Crystals

Daevanion Points and Daevanion Crystals are not interchangeable. Early boards use the standard progression system, while later boards can require board-specific crystal materials. Always read the acquisition condition on the node before committing to a route.

• Daevanion Points can come from quests, regional quests, Sealed Dungeons, Strongholds, Rifts, Nightmare content and other progression activities.
• Crystal-related materials can be tied to Sealed Dungeons, crafting or conversion, Shugo Festival shops, Nightmare shops and later seasonal systems.
• Quantities, costs and weekly limits are version-dependent. Do not rely on an old crystal price or an imported regional client value without checking the live tooltip.

How Daevanion Nodes Work

• Grey (Stats) - 1 point
• Green (Passive Skills) - 2 points
• Blue (Active Skills) - 3 points
• Orange (Unique Skills) - 4 points

• Stat nodes: Attack, Defense, HP, MP, Critical Hit, Accuracy and other direct stats.
• Skill nodes: active or passive skill levels that can improve damage, healing, cooldowns, resource generation or secondary effects.
• Major nodes: specialized effects that can define the purpose of a route.

Use this route-planning process: identify the skill or stat you want, find the shortest useful path, inspect every intermediate node, calculate the total cost, compare another route, and only then spend your points. A longer route with useful intermediate stats can be better than a shorter route full of bonuses your build does not use.

Best Daevanion Priorities for PvE and PvP

For PvE, prioritize the class skills that define your rotation, useful offensive stats, core effects, PvE Damage Boost, PvE Damage Tolerance and enough defense to stay alive. Ariel becomes especially attractive at level 45, but it should complement a strong general foundation.

For PvP, consider PvP Damage Boost, PvP Damage Tolerance, Accuracy, defensive stats, mobility, crowd-control utility and class-specific skills. Azphel is the specialized PvP direction, but general stats and skill upgrades still matter.
